Play For Blake is a 501c3 nonprofit foundation in loving memory of Blake Buchbinder, a passionate and determined soccer player whose life was tragically cut short at the age of 13.

 

Blake loved the game of soccer with all his heart. In his honor, we are committed to giving every child—no matter their circumstances—the opportunity to experience that same joy. Soccer is more than a sport; it’s a path to confidence, teamwork, and lifelong growth.

 

Through your support, Play For Blake has donated over 2,500 soccer balls to children in need. Our reach continues to grow every year, with donations going to:

• Palm Beach County middle schools

• Local youth soccer clubs

• Foster care programs

• And now internationally—in the Dominican Republic and Africa

 

These soccer balls are often a child’s very first step onto the pitch, a moment filled with excitement, belonging, and hope.

 

Every dollar we raise goes directly toward purchasing and distributing soccer balls to kids who otherwise might never have the chance to play. And every ball we give is another way we carry Blake’s spirit forward.
